Intruder Deterred Following Theft Attempt
At approximately 11:11 PM, an individual entered the site and removed metal cables from a bin. Noralta’s 24/7 control room operator activated the siren, contacted RCMP, and continued monitoring the site.
At 11:17 PM the individual returned and approached the bin again. The operator immediately reactivated the siren, causing the individual to flee the site.
RCMP later confirmed attempted forced entry at three locations and recovered pliers believed to have been used in the attempted entry.
