Trespassers Detected and Deterred

Incident: Unauthorized access/trespassing

Outcome: Trespassers fled the site after deterrents were activated, and were deterred again when they returned minutes later.

What Happened

At approximately 1:51 AM, a grey truck arrived at the clients site. Individuals on site attempted to access a building, but before they could enter, the activity was identified by our control room operator.

The site's deterrents were immediately activated, causing the individuals to flee the property.

Our control room operator then contacted the client to inform them of the incident.

Minutes later, the same vehicle returned to the site. Rather than going unnoticed, the returning activity was once again identified by our control room.

The Response

The activity was monitored in real time by our 24/7 manned Control Room.

When the individuals returned to the site, the control room operator activated the sirens again and let them know they were being monitored.

The deterrents were effective once again, and the individuals left the property.

The Outcome

This incident demonstrates the value of combining 24/7 human monitoring with active deterrence. Instead of simply recording activity for review later, our control room was able to identify the activity as it happened and respond in real time.
